This 8-week “bootcamp” style Green Building Certificate (not-for-credit) provides you with on-demand, online learning, designed to prepare you for the ICC CALGreen Inspector/Plans Examiner Exam and the LEED Green Associate Exam.

International Code Council (ICC) - 3.2 CEU
Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) - 32 Hours General Education
Gain working knowledge of green building and sustainable development in terms of green building rating systems and green building codes.
Develop knowledge and background of the 2019 California Green Building Code. Understand considerations for the future of CALGreen and sustainable development.
Identify triggered projects for the 2019 California Green Building Code and how the mandatory and voluntary measures change the requirements of a project.
Increase awareness of logistical impacts of CALGreen regarding plans, specs, permitting, documentation, inspection, and local enforcement. Comprehend code measures by intent, plan check and inspection requirements.
We provide training and courses to develop expertise in environmental building strategies, policy, and to help the design community demonstrate leadership in the community. Our on-demand courses meet the needs of today’s market challenges with a flexible training mode.
The Green Building Certificate (not-for-credit) provides an accelerated learning path for working professionals. The certificate is a bootcamp style program spread out over an 8-week period, combining both live sessions and office hours with on-demand self-paced courses. Students will gain current and practical knowledge about sustainable development and green buildings with a focus on California codes and standards.
